Why sinsuicide?

Ok, so even thought like NO ONE is going to read my blog, cause i'm boring, I wanted to explain why I chose the URL sinsuicide.blogspot. I think that the sin in our lives is the reason things don't always "go according to plan". This being said, WE are the only ones who can remove the sin from our lives, well Jesus, but he'll only remove it if we ask. Your Mom or Dad can't remove it from you, your pastor, or youth leader can't take the sin out of your life, YOU are the one who has to completely take that sin out of your life, so you can walk with Christ and be a true Christ-follower. Sure, we can "remove" the sin and temptation out of our lives, but if we have the mentality of "killing" the sin, maybe just maybe we can keep from it longer. One of the definitions of suicide is " the destruction of one's own interests or prospects", so with that in mind I use the URL "Sin Suicide" to remind us that we need to Destroy our interests if those interests lead us to sin.
